Core API Release 37.8.1

This Core API release introduces new capabilities to help you better manage authentication flows and protect user identifiers, along with configuration enhancements for finer control over availability checks.

Added

  • Active Session Count Support through data query node — Added the ability to count active sessions for a user, enabling login restriction capabilities to limit concurrent sessions.

  • Forgot Password Flow Update — The Forgot Password flow no longer generates an access token. Password updates via the Update User endpoint will continue to work as expected for setting a new password.

Improved

  • Identifier Availability Check Controls — Introduced configuration-level controls for the Email, Phone, and Username Availability Check APIs, allowing these endpoints to be individually enabled or disabled based on your feature configuration.

  • Bot Protection for Availability APIs — Added Bot Protection support to the Email, Phone, and Username Availability Check APIs to help prevent account enumeration attacks.
