Hard Refresh
Modern-day browsers cache every front-end resource like JavaScript/CSS style sheets to increase a website’s performance. When any updates or changes are done to the website, they do not register or reflect immediately due to caching. These changes can be seen by performing a hard refresh or clearing the browser’s cache.
Below are the steps to clear the cache through a hard refresh on different browsers:
Google Chrome
Windows Users
Hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on the keyboard.
Mac Users
Hold down Cmd along with the Shift key and press R on the keyboard.
Manual Steps:

Click on Customize and control Google Chrome on the top-right corner and go to the Settings.

Go to the Security & Privacy section and click Clear Browsing Data.

Select All Time in Time range, check Cached images and files and click on Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox
Windows Users
Hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on the keyboard.
Mac Users
Hold down Cmd along with the Shift key and press R on the keyboard.
Manual Steps:

Click on Open Application Menu on the top-right corner and go to the Settings.

Go to Privacy & Security section and under the Cookies and Site Data click Clear Data.

Check Cached Web Content and click on Clear.
Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge
Windows Users
Hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on the keyboard.
Manual Steps:

Click on Settings and more on the top-right corner or press Alt + F and go to the Settings.

Go to the Privacy, search, and services section and under Clear browsing data click Choose what to clear.

Select All Time in Time range, check Cached images and files and click on Clear now.
Safari
Mac Users
Hold down Opt along with the Cmd key and press E on the keyboard.
Manual Steps:

Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.

Click the Advanced tab and check the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.

Click Empty Caches under the Develop drop-down menu.
