EmpowerID Identity Warehouse

Identity Warehouse is the core data layer of the EmpowerID platform. It aggregates and normalizes identity data from diverse sources into one schema, maintaining person, account, group, and entitlement relationships. The warehouse supports role-based and attribute-based access decisions, provides lifecycle event triggers (joiner/mover/leaver), and feeds policies for provisioning, SSO, and governance.

  • Unified identity graph: Consolidates identities, roles, and permissions from multiple connected directories and applications.

  • Correlation & reconciliation: Matches accounts across systems and links them to a single “person” object for consistent governance and reporting.

Limitations

  • Proprietary data layer: While SCIM Virtual Directory Server (VDS) exposes SCIM for external systems, the full warehouse schema and APIs are proprietary to EmpowerID.

  • Self-hosted administration: Requires deployment, database maintenance, and sync agent management; not a fully managed SaaS component.

  • Operational complexity: Correlation logic, connector mapping, and workflow customization demand administrative expertise during setup and scaling.

  • Limited public documentation: Technical details on schema extensions, API payloads, and reconciliation jobs are referenced in customer training portals, not in public developer docs.
