What is One-Time Password (OTP)?
A One-Time Password (OTP) is a temporary code that can only be used once to verify a user’s identity. It expires quickly and is valid for just one login, transaction, or action. OTPs are usually sent through SMS, email, or generated by authenticator apps. They add an extra layer of security and are often used in Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) or passwordless login.
