What is Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)?
Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) is a way to control who has access to what in an identity system. It uses policies, processes, and tools to make sure the right people get the right access at the right time, for the right reasons. In practice, IGA manages the full identity lifecycle. This includes creating user accounts, assigning roles, reviewing access, removing inactive users, and meeting audit and compliance needs.
