What is Incident Response Planning?
Incident Response Planning is a structured way for organizations to prepare for, detect, and respond to security incidents in identity systems. It also covers the recovery steps needed after an incident. A strong plan helps stop threats like account takeovers, phishing, or stolen SSO tokens quickly. It reduces user impact and ensures the company meets legal duties, such as sending breach notifications required by GDPR or HIPAA.
